Festivities of Sant Antoni Abad

Dates: Friday closest to 17 January

Don’t miss the tasty tradition of the traditional “prims” and “coquetes” and the magical lighting of the monumental bonfire, which is celebrated on the eve of the festivities with the blessing of the animals.

Cabanes Walk

Date: in February.

A walk that turns into a party with 23 km in the competitive version and 13 km in the non-competitive version.

Patron saint’s festivities in May in honour of Nostra Senyora del Bon Succés

Dates: first week of May.

The festivities in honour of the patron saint, Nostra Senyora del Bon Succés, begin on the first Sunday in May with the pilgrimage to Les Santes on the evening before the saint’s day, and the “Entrà de Maig” (Welcoming May). During these festivities there are bullfights and open-air dances. On the Sunday of Pentecost, the “Despedida” (Farewell) of the Virgin is celebrated, and the following day she is carried in procession to Les Santes Chapel.

Sant Pere Festivities

Date: 29 June

These festivities are held in honour of the patron saint of sailors with bullfighting, music and traditional gastronomy. The handing out of ribbons for the pilgrimage from the church to Torre la Sal beach is a tradition you can enjoy if you are in Cabanes during these days.

August patron saint's festivities in honour of Sant Joan Baptista and Sant Roc

Dates: first week of August.

On the first Saturday in August, the festivities in honour of Sant Joan Baptista and Sant Roc begin with the traditional bullfighting and open-air dances.

Sant Andreu Fair

Dates: last weekend in November.

The Sant Andreu Fair is an event not to be missed. It brings together more than 200 food and agriculture, machinery and automotive exhibitors and is an agricultural technology fair that attracts many visitors from the primary sector. The fair has a food tent in which concerts, show-cooking and workshops are held, and where producers from Castelló Ruta de Sabor offer their wares.
